Golden Globes Favourites

16:30

The award season has officially started. The Golden Globes kick off the most elegant season of the year and I look forward to see the beautiful gowns every time. I love seeing my favourite actors, singers and celebs in amazing pieces. This year Gold and Silver was a huge yes for many. Followed by white and light rosé coloured pieces. The dresses seemed rather simple compared to other years yet effortless and gorgeous. What caught my eye is that there weren't that many bold make up choices this year. Natural was the deal and I personally loved it. The stars let the dress be the star.

See my top 8 below:

Kate Hudson showed off her toned tummy in a rather sexy outfit for such an elegant occasion. Nevertheless, I loved it. Michael Kors designed her revealing gown in a goldish rosé tone. She paired it with rosé shoes and left her hair and make up natural. The back of the dress was closed so it was not too revealing in my opinion.

Alice Vikander wore a beautiful white Louis Vuitton column gown. The delicate pleating and the frill-trimmed bodice added some elegant texture to the classic look. Her gorgeous up-do showed off the impeccable back of the dress.

As a black fan I need to put in one of the few black dresses last night. Vanessa Hudgens wore a black velvet, sheer dress by CD Green, which shows off her darker side. Her hair was in a perfect ballerina bun and the sparkling details and jewelry added the perfect touch of glamour to it.

Once again Selena Gomez looked like a goddess. Her white gown was designed by J-Mendel and is so classic yet very modern. She kept her hair and make up minimal and simply wowed us by her presence. The silver clutch adds perfectly to white off-shoulder dress.

Swiss blogger Kristina Bazan's dress is probably my favourite out of all. Her Labourjoise dress is simply stunning. Even though it is very glittery and long, she makes it look so effortlessly simple and chic. Her dark nails and lips bring and edge to this fantastic look and her smile makes it perfect.

King Kylie Jenner looked surprisingly natural and simple last night at the InStyle after-party and I must say I love it. Her ballerina bun portrays her perfect face, which is not caked to the extreme but kept rather natural and her two piece gown is simply stunning! She channelled Cinderella in this beautiful sequin gown by Labourjoise (like Kristina's).

Newly engaged Rosie Huntington-Whiteley beamed in a simple golden strappy dress and loose waves. She only wore her engagement ring as jewelry and nothing else. Her make up was rather simple and complimented this Atelier Versace gown.

Nina Dobrev wore a rosé lace and mesh dress by Max Azria Atelier and shows us once again what a natural beauty she is. Her hair in a romantic up-do, minimal make up and a flashy red bag perfected the outfit.
